OOTY: The sight of a stray wild jumbo in rural Gudalur in western Nilgiris began to bring back nightmares to the villagers there as the foresters need to evolve the necessary plans to tackle this man-elephant conflict.
It was a rude shock for the villagers of Vimalagiri and Puthurvayal as well as motorists on the road in Gudalur limits to see a wild jumbo straying into the village limits on Saturday early morning and enjoying leisure walks along its roads.
