TN CM Vijay Designates Districts In-Charge for Ministers

Minister for Public Works and Sports Development Aadhav Arjuna will take care of Chennai and Tiruvannamalai districts

Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay on Wednesday appointed in-charge ministers for all districts to expedite the development works of their respective regions. According to a government order, State Rural Development Minister N Anand will be in-charge of Villupuram and Cuddalore districts, while Minister for Public Works and Sports Development Aadhav Arjuna will take care of Chennai and Tiruvannamalai districts.

The order further said that Mayiladuthurai has been assigned to State Minister for Food and Civil Supplies, P Venkataraman, Tiruvallur to Minister for Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology and Digital Services, R Kumar and Tirunelveli district to State Finance Minister Marie Wilson.

State School Education Minister Raj Mohan will be incharge of Perambalur district, Minister K Thennarasu of Kancheepuram and Minister R V Ranjithkumar will look after Tiruppur district.

Minister D Sarathkumar (Chengalpet), Minister Vanni Arasu (Kallakurichi), Minister V Gandhiraj (Ranipet).

Minister P Rajkumar (Dharmapuri and Ariyalur districts), A M Shahjahan, minister for minority welfare (Nagapattinam) and agriculture minister Vinoth will be incharge of Thanjavur.

Minister C Vijayalakshmi will be incharge of Karur, Minister D Logesh Tamilselvan of Namakkal, Minister K G Arunraj of Tirupur district, Minister S Kamali of Nilgiris district, Minister M Vijay Balaji of Vellore district, Minister K A Sengottaiyan of Erode district, Minister V Sampath Kumar of Coimbatore, R Nirmal Kumar of Madurai and Theni districts.

Minister J Mohamed Farvas will be in-charge of Pudukkottai district, T K Prabhu of Sivaganga district, Minister S Keerthana of Krishnagiri district, Minister K Jagadeshwari will be incharge of Virudhunagar district.

Likewise, Minister P Viswanathan was assigned Tiruvarur, Minister Srinath was given Tuticorin district, Minister P Mathan Ramanathapuram district, whereas Minister Vijay Tamilan Parthiban will be incharge of Salem.

Similarly, Minister S Rajeshkumar will be incharge of Kanyakumari, Minister Rajeev of Tenkasi district and Minister K Vignesh will be incharge of Dindigul.

The order said that the Tamil Nadu government is continuously taking serious steps to ensure that the benefits of all sectoral schemes reach the public quickly.

In order to further strengthen, monitor and expedite the scheme works at the district level in the event of natural calamities, epidemics and various other emergencies, the government has decided to fully involve the ministers.
