AIADMK's Inbadurai Questions Security Protocols Of TN CM's Private Bodyguards
AIADMK''s Inbadurai questions why the CM relies on private bodyguards despite being under extensive multi-tier state security.
Chennai: AIADMK leader I S Inbadurai on Wednesday raised serious concerns regarding the security entourage surrounding Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay, while questioning as to why the CM relied on private bodyguards despite being under extensive multi-tier state security, including a specialised "Core Cell," to safeguard CM Vijay.
In a social media post shared on X, the former MLA questioned, "When multiple layers of official security rings, including a Core Cell, have been provided by the government, why is the CM moving around with a private bodyguard?" Inbadurai asked in his post.

The individual in question here is Nayeem Moosa, Vijay's personal bodyguard for the past three years. A Keralite from Mahe, a small enclave of Puducherry within Kerala, Nayeem was seen with the TVK leader in all of his political tours and rarely leaves his side even after he became Chief Minister. Nayeem runs his own security agency called Gentur Security, headquartered in Dubai, and has been in this business fr the past 22 years, operating in the Middle East, Malaysia, and India. His agency has overseen the safety of several international and Indian celebrities and icons, and he has become a trusted aide of Vijay for all his events and meetings. According to reports, Moosa is is considered highly experienced security strategist with expertise in VIP protection, crowd management, coordination, and emergency-response planning during large public gatherings.
Nayeem was also seen in CM Vijay's trip to Delhi when he had gone to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which had also left people questioning Nayeem's presence along with a posse of 55 security guards, which is said to be one of the highest levels of VIP protection given to a Chief Minister. The Z+ category security cover typically involves highly-trained commandos, advanced weapon systems, close-protection teams, and specialised transport arrangements.
Despite the provision of Z+ category security for Vijay, Moosa is often seen as his most trusted aide, often going beyond the mandated layers of official protection and security protocols
