Chennai: Chengalpet district administration is all set to hold a private employment camp on Aug. 21 at the district Collector’s office with the participation of more than 50 companies who will offer more than 5,000 jobs.

Chengalpet district administration has arranged the private job fair and requested the youth to make use of the event. District Collector M. Veerappan said the camp would be conducted at the Chengalpet district employment guidance centre, adding there is no charge for taking part in the job fair for the employers and those seeking employment.
The job seekers could register themselves on the website www.tnprivatejobs.tn.gov.in, he said. Those who have studied eighth standard to degree besides diplomas can take part, the Collector said, adding ITI, nursing, pharmacy and laboratory assistants with the required qualifications could also participate. Job seekers from the age of 18 to 40 are eligible and they should come with their resumes, photographs and copies of educational certificates from 9 am to 2 pm.
