Homegrown Companies Lead Tamil Nadu’s Investment Charge
Titan, ELGi Equipments, Lucas TVS and Aheesa Digital Innovations announce fresh investments across the state
Homegrown Tamil Nadu companies featured prominently among the 97 MoUs signed at the Vetri Tamil Nadu Investment Conclave 2026, Thursday, reinvesting in the state that built them.
Titan Company will invest Rs. 1,000 crore in Hosur to expand facilities for premium watches, jewellery and automation equipment for its electronics business, creating 1,200 jobs.
Coimbatore-based ELGi Equipments, among the world’s largest air compressor manufacturers, will invest Rs. 325 crore to expand its home facility. Lucas TVS, a homegrown automotive and EV components major, will invest Rs. 2,500 crore across multiple facilities.
Chennai-founded chip design company, Aheesa Digital Innovations, is also part of this homegrown cohort.
