Thiruvananthapuram: To mark the Chingam and Onam poojas at Sabarimala, the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has set up extensive travel plans to ensure a smooth and safe journey for Ayyappa devotees.
From August 16 to 28, special services will run to and from Pampa through various KSRTC units, with routes available from major hubs like Thiruvananthapuram, Chengannur, Pathanamthitta, Kottarakkara, Erumeli, and Punalur, based on demand.
With the large number of devotees arriving by train, KSRTC has set up flexible services between Chengannur Railway Station and Pampa, running at any time as needed. Return trips from Pampa to Chengannur will also be available. To make pilgrim travel smoother, the Nilakkal–Pampa chain service has been expanded.
