Three-Year-Old Girl Run Over By School Vehicle In Vijayapura

Vijayapura: A three-year-old girl was run over by a private school vehicle after she came out of her house to see her brother on Tuesday.
The incident occurred near the Industrial Area of Vijayapura city.

According to the preliminary information, the girl’s brother had just got down from the private school bus after returning from school. The CCTV footage shows the girl had come out of the house to see him and moved towards the front of the vehicle. By then the driver reportedly moved the vehicle forward, resulting in the death of the girl on the spot.
The police took the driver into custody following the incident. A team from the APMC police station visited the spot and conducted an inspection.
