Karnataka Govt Offers 50% Concession on Pending Traffic Fines

The residents of Bengaluru, vehicle owners can make their payment through BTP ASTraM app introduced by Bangalore Traffic Division.

Bengaluru: The State Government on Thursday issued an order granting 50 percent concession on fines in cases registered under traffic violations that remain unpaid and the paying traffic fines is available for a limited time.

The order has given time for the erring riders/drivers to clear their unpaid fines from August 23 to September 12 by paying 50 percent of the pending fine amount.

A release stated owners of vehicles can make their payments through the Karnataka State Police (KSP) app and for the residents of Bengaluru, vehicle owners can make their payment through BTP ASTraM app introduced by Bangalore Traffic Division. Erring owners can pay fines by providing a vehicle registration number at the nearest traffic police station.

Vehicle owners also have the opportunity to make payments at Traffic Management Centre and also at Karnataka One/Bangalore One websites.
