BENGALURU: Chief Minister on Wednesday received socio-economic and educational survey report-2025 submitted to him by chairman of Karnataka State Commission for Backward Classes at Vidhana Soudha.

After receiving the report, the Chief Minister stated he was happy to receive the report and hoped the report would be a guiding force for implementation of social justice.

The Chief Minister pointed out that he initiated the survey to gather details of all residents of sections of the society to know their social and educational status during 2015 when he was the Chief Minister in the first term (2013-18).

After his exit in 2018, Siddaramaiah the State Government which was in power in Karnataka was hesitant to accept the report resulting in the report gathering dust for a decade. Continuing, he said, a re-survey was ordered to gather details in a scientific manner in 2025.
