Karnataka: 3 Rescued From Stalled Lift In Bengaluru

BENGALURU: 3 persons of a family were rescued in a coordinated effort by personnel of ‘Namma-112’ Emergency Response System, Hoysala patrolling team along with apartment maintenance staff at an apartment in J.P. Nagar 8th phase of Bengaluru on August Friday at around 5.02 pm.
The three were trapped inside a stalled lift due to a technical malfunction at the apartment and sensing that they were in trouble, one of the trapped persons dialled Namma-112 personnel and the message was relayed to ASI Prakash and Constable M.D. Sanjeev Kumar then on duty in Hoysala patrolling of Talaghattapura police station limits.
Prakash and Sanjeev Kumar swung into action and reached the location in a few minutes. The apartment maintenance staff were alerted and steps were initiated to open the stalled lift. Trapped family members were rescued.
