KADAPA: An RTC bus driver was allegedly assaulted by a car driver in YSR Kadapa district following a dispute over right of way.

The incident occurred near Ganugapenta in Porumamilla mandal and involved Badvel depot driver P.S.K. Valli. According to reports, the car driver intercepted the bus, forced it to stop, dragged the driver out, and assaulted him. Passengers intervened and rescued the driver.

The incident, which took place on Monday, came to light after videos surfaced on social media and went viral. Following a complaint by RTC union leaders, Porumamilla police registered a case and launched an investigation.
