NELLORE: Nellore Municipal Corporation commissioner and additional election officer Y.O. Nandan has directed officials to distribute voter information slips to all voters within the corporation limits from October 28 to 30.
During a teleconference with NMC officials, returning officers, nodal officers, zonal officers, supervisors and booth-level officers (BLOs) on Saturday, he instructed them to visit every household and ensure voters receive their slips to identify their polling stations and cast their votes without difficulty.
He appealed to voters to collect their information slips from their respective BLOs.
Nandan also directed officials to complete repairs and ensure all polling stations were ready for the elections. He asked them to take steps to print ballot papers and postal ballot papers in consultation with contesting candidates and ensure that election personnel eligible for postal ballots could exercise their voting rights.
