VISAKHAPATNAM: The three-day International Reverse Buyer–Seller Meet, organised jointly by the Andhra Pradesh MSME Development Corporation and the Federation of Indian Export Organisations under the RAMP Scheme, concluded successfully in Visakhapatnam on Friday with the signing of 88 MoUs.
The meet, held from August 19 to 21, brought together over 40 overseas buyers from 25 countries and more than 250 MSMEs from Andhra Pradesh for structured one-to-one business meetings aimed at expanding export opportunities.
AP MSMEDC chairman Tammi Reddy Siva Sankara Rao and FIEO Joint Director General K. Unnikrishnan addressed the valedictory session and witnessed the exchange of MoUs between international buyers and participating MSMEs.
The organisers said several business negotiations are in advanced stages and are expected to convert into export orders after product evaluation, sample approvals and commercial follow-up.
Overseas buyers appreciated the quality and diversity of products showcased by Andhra Pradesh MSMEs, while local enterprises welcomed the direct access to global buyers and valuable feedback on quality, certification, packaging, pricing and delivery standards.
The participating MSMEs represented sectors including agriculture and processed foods, spices, rice, marine products, food ingredients, textiles, chemicals, engineering products and other value-added goods.
The event was organised under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) scheme to strengthen MSME competitiveness, improve export readiness and expand Andhra Pradesh’s international market linkages.
