Vijayawada: An AR (Armed Reserve) constable reportedly died by suicide at Yanamalakuduru in Krishna district. The head constable, identified as R. Rajesh of the Vijayawada City AR wing, was a 2009-batch employee currently serving on deputation duty in Krishna district.
Late Wednesday night, he allegedly attempted suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan at his residence. Family members immediately rushed him to the hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival.
Police suspect that domestic disputes may have driven him to take this extreme step. Penamaluru police have registered a case and launched an investigation into the incident.
