KADAPA: An unidentified man was found dead on the premises of the Zilla Parishad High School at Veparala village in Mylavaram mandal of Jammalamadugu Assembly constituency in YSR Kadapa district on Tuesday.

The school watchman noticed the body in the morning and alerted local residents and police. As a large number of people from different places had gathered in the village for the Chowdeswari Jyothula festival, police are checking whether the deceased was among the visitors.

Police are investigating to establish the identity of the deceased and ascertain the circumstances surrounding his death. The Mylavaram police registered a case and launched an investigation.
