Three workers lost their lives after falling from a construction building at the TUDA quarters near Mangalam
Tirupati: In a tragic incident, three workers lost their lives after falling from a construction building at the TUDA quarters near Mangalam in the city. The deceased have been identified as B. Srinivasulu, Vasanth, and K. Srinivasulu.
A retired teacher is constructing a building in the TUDA Quarters area. G Plus has taken up the project to add an additional floor to the existing four floors. As part of this construction, scaffolding was being erected from the ground up to facilitate plastering work on the newly added fifth floor. After completing the plastering of the fifth floor, the entire building was scheduled to be plastered.
During this process, three workers were cutting scaffolding poles on the fifth floor when a tragic accident occurred. Strong winds blew the poles away, causing all three workers to lose their balance and fall from the fifth floor.
Local residents who witnessed the accident immediately alerted emergency services by calling 108. Responding swiftly, 108 personnel arrived at the scene and confirmed that all three workers had died.
