Vijayawada: The office of the President of India has sent a communiqué to the Andhra Pradesh chief secretary to initiate an inquiry against AP Legislative Assembly Deputy Speaker K. Raghurama Krishna Raju for making political statements while holding a constitutional post.

The order comes in the wake of Jai Bheem Rao Bharat Party’s P. Suresh Kumar complaining to the office of the President of India seeking an inquiry and action against the AP Deputy Speaker.
However, when no action had been taken, Suresh Kumar again complained to the office of the President of India, which, in turn, directed the AP chief secretary to conduct an inquiry.
