Theft on Rayalaseema Express; Cash and Gold Stolen

Anantapur: A theft was reported on the Nizamabad-Tirupati Rayalaseema Express train at 1:30 AM near Gutthi, where the train was halted to allow the Amaravati Express to pass. Five unidentified persons entered 10 compartments and fled with cash and gold ornaments, according to a news report.

About 20 victims have filed complaints with the Tirupati Police. More details are awaited.
