The Election Commission has, in a directive to the chief electoral officer of AP along with other states, referred to electors who were issued enumeration forms but whose names could not be included in the draft electoral rolls on account of being marked as ASDD. EC said they shall be provided one more opportunity to get their names included in the final electoral rolls.

Accordingly, booth-wise lists of all such electors shall be displayed on the notice boards of the respective polling stations from where their names were deleted. All such electors shall be provided one more opportunity to submit their duly filled enumeration forms to the concerned ERO/AERO corresponding to their current ordinary residence.

Partially filled enumeration forms shall be generated afresh in ERO dashboard in ECINET so that the concerned district election officer or electoral registration officer shall make all possible efforts to contact such electors through concerned BLOs. They would be delivered the enumeration forms either physically or through electronic means.

Electors will also be able to download and fill their enumeration form through the website/ECINET app by entering the same EPIC number that existed before the names were delegated.

The BLOs shall make every possible effort to establish contact with such electors through house-to-house visits, enquiries from neighbours/family members and others and will guide such electors for submission of enumeration forms.

In a case, where such an elector has shifted the place of residence within the state, such elector is not required to submit Form-8 and instead he/she shall submit enumeration form along with a statement indicating the new address and the assembly constituency.

Moreover, all enumeration forms received back from such electors shall be duly processed and disposed of by the concerned EROs and the final publication of electoral rolls is on November 30 in AP.
