SC Corporation Launches Website for Welfare Schemes

VIJAYAWADA: The Andhra Pradesh Scheduled Castes (SC) Corporation has launched its official website, https://apsccorporation.ap.gov.in to facilitate access to its members and help them submit online applications for various central and state government banking and welfare schemes.
Social welfare minister Bala Veeranjaneyaswamy launched the website at the SC Corporation’s state office in Tadepalli on Thursday.
The portal provides information on various schemes, including eligibility criteria, loan limits and subsidies, and facilitates online registration and submission of applications.
Veeranjaneyaswamy said the alliance government was taking measures to empower members of the SC community through education, skill development and self-employment opportunities. They could use the portal to apply for banking and welfare schemes implemented by the central and state governments.
The minister said special initiatives were being taken to create overseas employment opportunities for SC youth. Nursing students would be provided free English-language proficiency training at six centres in Visakhapatnam, Rajahmundry, Guntur, Nellore, Tirupati and Kurnool, with 50 students to be trained at each centre.
The trained candidates would be assisted in finding employment opportunities in Israel. Nursing students would be provided free German-language training at Visakhapatnam, Guntur and Tirupati to help them secure employment opportunities in Germany, he said.
The government would provide skill training to unemployed SC youths in various sectors and facilitate employment opportunities for them, the minister said.
Madiga Corporation chairperson Undavalli Sridevi, Mala Corporation chairperson Pedapudi Vijay Kumar, social welfare secretary MM Naik and SC corporation general manager Chennayya were present.
