RTIH To Host Startup Expo On May 11

VIJAYAWADA: The Ratan Tata Innovation Hub (RTIH) at Enikepadu in Vijayawada will host a Startup Expo on May 11 as part of the National Technology Day celebrations.

The expo is expected to bring together innovators, aspiring entrepreneurs and technology enthusiasts on a single platform while promoting a culture of innovation and startup development in the region.

NTR district collector Dr G. Lakshmisha announced the event on Saturday. He said the expo is being organised to encourage young entrepreneurs and startups working on innovative ideas and technology-driven solutions.

The collector said the event would provide an opportunity for young innovators to showcase their intellectual and creative capabilities. He stated that all startups operating in the Vijayawada zone are eligible to participate.

Special stalls will be arranged for startups to exhibit their innovations, technological products, business models and emerging ideas before industry stakeholders and visitors.

Highlighting the district administration’s focus on promoting innovation and entrepreneurship, Dr Lakshmisha said cash prizes would be awarded to the best-performing startups. The first prize carries a cash award of `30,000, while the second and third prizes carry `20,000 and `15,000 respectively.

The collector urged startup founders, innovators and talented youth working in the technology sector to participate in the event.
