VIJAYAWADA: The Andhra Pradesh government has issued orders granting promotions to nearly 100 employees of various cadres in the cooperative department across the state.

A delegation of the AP Cooperative Services Association, led by state president T.V. Phani Perraju, along with state executive members, district office-bearers and promoted employees, met the minister in Vijayawada on Saturday and thanked him for ensuring speedy promotions and transparent posting orders.
At the request of employees, the minister cut a cake and joined the celebrations, while sweets were distributed among staff members.
Speaking on the occasion, Atchannaidu said the government was committed to granting timely promotions and ensuring postings without any scope for corruption.
He said the administration was taking steps to create a positive working environment and safeguard the rights and interests of employees.
The minister asserted that 100 per cent transparency had been maintained in the latest promotion process in the cooperative department.
