Nellore: Residents of Ongole city experienced mild earth tremors late on Friday night, triggering panic in several localities as people rushed out of their homes in fear.

According to residents, the tremors were felt around 10.36 pm in areas including Devudu Cheruvu, Nellore Bus Stand, Mamidipalem, Gaddalagunta, Vaddipalem, Sanjeev Gandhi Colony, Seetharampuram, RIMS Centre and Mungamuru Road.
