Mild Tremors Trigger Panic in Ongole City

Nellore: Residents of Ongole city experienced mild earth tremors late on Friday night, triggering panic in several localities as people rushed out of their homes in fear.
According to residents, the tremors were felt around 10.36 pm in areas including Devudu Cheruvu, Nellore Bus Stand, Mamidipalem, Gaddalagunta, Vaddipalem, Sanjeev Gandhi Colony, Seetharampuram, RIMS Centre and Mungamuru Road.

Many locals said similar tremors had reportedly occurred twice earlier during late-night and early-morning hours in recent months.
Though no loss of life or property damage has been reported, the repeated occurrence of tremors has left residents worried.
