Rockworth to Expand Manufacturing Base in Sri City

TIRUPATI: Rockworth Systems Furniture (India) Private Limited, based in Sri City, has announced plans to expand its manufacturing facility with an investment of `70 crore in the coming years. The expansion will enhance the capacity of the existing plant and include a new manufacturing unit.
The announcement was made on Friday by Shailesh Kumar Singh during a pooja marking the start of the financial year 2026–27. He said the company would continue to support community development through the Meena Devi Memorial Foundation, which focuses on helping children from economically weaker sections pursue education.
Ravindra Sannareddy said the expansion would strengthen the region’s industrial ecosystem and noted that the company’s support for education reflects responsible corporate practices.
As part of the initiative, educational support documents were distributed to beneficiary families for the academic year 2026–27. The foundation currently supports nearly 100 children, including 37 new beneficiaries this year, with about ₹67 lakh allocated for assistance.
Established in 2011 in Sri City, the company manufactures office, educational and laboratory furniture. It serves clients across India and employs around 400 people, most of them from nearby villages. The company received the Make in India Award for Excellence in the IT furniture category in 2015.
