Rising Rayalaseema Conclave Focuses on Industrial Growth and Investments

The ministers highlighted the government’s efforts to attract investments, promote industrialisation, create employment opportunities and encourage innovation among youth

KURNOOL: The Andhra Pradesh government is committed to transforming Rayalaseema into a hub for industries, investments and employment generation, Health and Family Welfare Minister Y. Satya Kumar Yadav and Industries and Commerce Minister T.G. Bharath said on Saturday.

Addressing the ‘Rising Rayalaseema – Industry, Innovation and Investment’ conclave in Kadapa, the ministers said the region’s abundant natural and human resources should be effectively utilised to achieve balanced and sustainable development.

The conclave, organised by Samarth Research and Resurgence at the Zilla Parishad meeting hall, focused on industrial development, investment opportunities and innovation-driven growth in the region.

The ministers highlighted the government’s efforts to attract investments, promote industrialisation, create employment opportunities and encourage innovation among youth. They said the objective was to accelerate economic growth and strengthen the region’s development prospects.

District collector Dr Sridhar Cherukuri, Government Whip and Jammalamadugu MLA Adinarayana Reddy, MLC Ram Gopal Reddy and other dignitaries attended the programme. YSR Architecture and Fine Arts University vice-chancellor Dr B. Jayaramireddy, BJP state president P.V.N. Madhav and Samarth convener Sridhar were also present.

Experts at the conclave discussed industrial expansion, utilisation of natural resources, development of education and research institutions, and strategies to attract investments to the region. They also shared views on government policies and emerging opportunities for economic growth.

Professors, researchers, scholars, industrialists, representatives of voluntary organisations, public representatives and youth participated in the discussions and offered suggestions on the future development of Rayalaseema.
