VIJAYAWADA: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan and education minister N. Lokesh and expressed grief over the death of six people in the road accident at Dorakunta in Kodad mandal of Suryapet district of Telangana state early on Wednesday.

Modi said he was deeply shocked by the tragedy and conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families. He prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.

Naidu also conveyed his condolences to the families of those who died and wished the injured a speedy recovery. He directed officials to coordinate with the Telangana government in monitoring the rescue and relief operations.

Pawan Kalyan sought details of the accident from officials and directed them to ensure the injured received the best possible medical treatment in coordination with Telangana authorities. He also prayed for their speedy recovery.

Lokesh condoled the deaths, expressed his sympathies to the bereaved families and said the government would support the affected families.
