Pithapuram Panchayat Raj AE Attempts Suicide With Family

Rajahmundry: In a tragic incident, a family jumped into the Godavari River from the road-cum-rail bridge shortly after midnight on Sunday.

According to reports, AE Nookaraju of Pithapuram, along with his wife, daughter-in-law, and grandson, jumped into the river. The grandson was rescued and shifted to a hospital for treatment.

Police reached the spot and launched rescue operations to trace the missing family members.

A case has been registered and the investigation is underway.
