Pawan Kalyan Highlights Deep Bond with Tribal Communities

Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan extended greetings to all tribal brothers and sisters on the occasion of the International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples.
Sharing a message on X, Pawan Kalyan said forests have protected tribal communities for generations, while tribal people have safeguarded forests as guardians of nature, culture and ancient wisdom.
This year’s theme, “Honouring Indigenous Midwives: Safeguarding Life and Well-being,” highlights the invaluable traditional knowledge passed down through generations and the vital role Indigenous women and communities play in protecting life, health, culture and heritage.
Pawan Kalyan said he shares a deep and personal bond with tribal communities. He added that their affection and trust have always strengthened his resolve to work for their dignity and welfare.
He said the government is taking several initiatives, including Adavi Thalli Baata, improving connectivity to remote habitations, creating livelihood opportunities and strengthening the protection of forests and wildlife.
Pawan Kalyan said the government is working to ensure that development reaches every tribal family while protecting their identity, culture and traditions. He stressed that the development and welfare of tribal communities remain a key commitment of the government.
