NTR Health University to Hold First Inter-Collegiate Cultural Meet From Aug. 12 to 14

Dr NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) will organise its first inter-collegiate cultural meet-2026 from August 12 to 14. The event will be hosted by NRI Medical College at Chinakakani in Mangalagiri mandal of Guntur district.

Announcing the event on Tuesday, vice-chancellor Dr P. Chandrasekhar said the university, while committed to academic excellence, also attaches equal importance to nurturing students’ cultural talents, creativity, leadership, teamwork and overall personality development.

He said the cultural meet had been conceived to provide a common platform for students of affiliated medical and dental colleges across the state to showcase their artistic abilities and interact with peers in a spirit of healthy competition and friendship.

The three-day event will feature competitions in singing, classical dance, group dance, instrumental music, mono acting, quiz and yogasana.

Registrar Dr P. Sai Sudheer said the initiative reflected the university’s commitment to holistic education by helping students develop confidence, communication skills and leadership qualities beyond the classroom.

He expressed confidence that the maiden event would evolve into a prestigious annual platform for showcasing students’ cultural talents while fostering unity, creativity and camaraderie among future healthcare professionals in the state.
