NTR District Collector Invites Property Owners to List Assets on AP IT Portal

VIJAYAWADA: NTR district collector Dr G. Lakshmisha has urged owners of commercial buildings, office complexes and vacant land to register suitable properties on the state’s IT infrastructure portal to support the government's efforts to develop the district as a major information technology hub.

The collector said the government is identifying and showcasing infrastructure required for the establishment of IT industries, IT-enabled Services (ITeS) companies and start-ups. As part of the initiative, details of commercial buildings, office spaces, vacant land and other properties suitable for IT operations should be uploaded on the ‘itinfra.ap.gov.in’ portal.

He said the portal serves as a single-window platform providing prospective investors with comprehensive information on infrastructure available across the state, enabling IT companies to identify suitable locations for setting up operations.

Dr Lakshmisha said listing properties on the portal would help domestic and international investors assess available infrastructure more efficiently and improve the district's prospects of attracting fresh investments.

He appealed to owners of commercial buildings, managers of office complexes and landowners to register their properties, stating that the initiative would provide greater visibility to their assets and increase the possibility of their utilisation by IT companies.

The collector said expansion of the IT sector in NTR district would generate employment opportunities for local youth, allowing them to find jobs closer to home, while also contributing to the district's economic development.
