Newly-Wed Couple Found Dead In Vizianagaram

Visakhapatnam: A newly-wed couple was found dead under suspicious circumstances at their home in Tammannameraka, Kothavalasa mandal of Vizianagaram district, on Friday night. The deceased were identified as Koppula Chiranjeevi, 30, an employee of a private company in Visakhapatnam, and his wife Geethala Venkata Lakshmi, 28, who worked at a private store in Kothavalasa.

Kothavalasa circle inspector Shanmukha Rao said preliminary investigation suggests the couple had a quarrel around 10 pm, after which Venkata Lakshmi died by suicide, followed by Chiranjeevi. Police ruled out third-party involvement. A case was registered and further investigation is underway, the CI said.
