Nellore District Registers Highest 2.90 Lakh Uncollectable Enumeration Forms; Polavaram Records Lowest at 38,927

Nellore recorded the highest number of uncollectable enumeration forms during the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls, while Polavaram reported the lowest.

As for ‘unresponded’ Enumeration Forms of electors due to reasons like ‘remaining absent, shifted to other places, death, duplicity,’ the Nellore district registered highest such misses at 2,90,683 while the newly formed Polavaram district recorded the lowest at 38,927 among 28 districts in Andhra Pradesh.

Chief electoral officer Vivek Yadav released the draft SIR of electoral rolls for all 175 assembly constituencies here on Friday.

As the Election Commission has taken up the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls, and the draft rolls having been published, the uncollectable EFs of electors’ details have been announced district-wise.

They include (in lakhs): Srikakulam-17.25; Vizianagaram-12.78; Parvathipuram Manyam-75,119; Alluri Sitarama Raju-63,258; Visakhapatnam-2,40,209; Anakapalli-1,09,336; Kakinada-1,95,602; Dr BR Ambedkar Konaseema-1,03,741; East Godavari-1,82,011; West Godavari-85,444; Eluru-1,02,543; Krishna-1,37,662; NTR-1,23,714; Guntur-2,37,556; Bapatla-1,10,216; Palnadu-1,91,996; Prakasam-1,27,029; Nellore-2,90,683; Kurnool-2,73,587; Nandyal-1,79,506; Anantapur-2,48,087, Sri Sathya Sai-1,70,584; YSR-2,44,919, Annamayya-1,48,703; Chitttoor-1,36,059; Tirupati-2,87,835; Polavaram-38,927 and Markapuram-85,800.

The total number of uncollectable EFs of electors is 44,89,512. The total number of electors during the pre-SIR of electoral rolls was 4.16 crore while the electors in the draft rolls number 3.71 crore while 64,502 are service electors.

Addressing the media, the CEO advised the electors to verify draft electoral rolls through the ECI Net App and the CEO’s official website.

Yadav said that claims and objections will be accepted from July 31 to August 30 and final electoral rolls will be punished on Oct 3.
