NEET-PG Test Held Peacefully, 97.4% Attendance Registered in AP
The collector directed officials to strictly comply with the prescribed norms and ensure that no untoward incident occurred during the examination.
Vijayawada:The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-PG-2026 was conducted peacefully across Andhra Pradesh on Sunday, with 18,765 of the 19,266 registered candidates appearing for the examination. The attendance was recorded at 97.4 per cent across 77 examination centres in 22 districts.
Dr NTR University of Health Sciences issued a statement here on Sunday giving details of the conduct of NEET-PG-2026. University registrar Dr T. Sai Sudheer and senior IPS officer Fakeerappa Kagineeli supervised the examination as nodal officers on behalf of the health department.
Meanwhile, NTR district collector Dr G. Lakshmisha visited the examination centre at PSCMR College of Engineering and Technology and inspected the arrangements and security measures.
He enquired with officials about the facilities provided to candidates and whether the arrangements were adequate to enable them to take the examination without facing any hardships.
