Naidu’s Tour Of Singapore To Focus On Investments, Amaravati Growth

Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will visit Singapore for two days from Monday, June 15, with a strong focus on attracting global investments, strengthening international partnerships and accelerating the development of Amaravati and other strategic infrastructure projects in Andhra Pradesh.
According to the CM’s official schedule, Naidu will leave Bengaluru for Singapore on June 14 and begin a series of high-level engagements aimed at showcasing Andhra Pradesh as an investment destination. The visit is also expected to reinforce long-standing cooperation between Andhra Pradesh and Singapore in urban planning, infrastructure development and economic growth.
On June 15, the Chief Minister will meet Shilpak Ambule, the Indian High Commissioner to Singapore, before participating in a roundtable interaction with startup venture capitalists. He will later attend a luncheon meeting with Anacláudia Rossbach, executive director of UN-Habitat.
The Chief Minister is scheduled to hold discussions with senior Singapore minister Low Yen Ling and interact with leading business and academic figures, including Karan Bajwa of Google Cloud Asia-Pacific, Lim Siang Guan, Robert Yap and Tan Eng Chye.
A key highlight of the visit will be Naidu’s meeting with Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, during which various avenues of bilateral cooperation are expected to be discussed. He will meet Singapore foreign minister Vivian Balakrishnan, home affairs minister K. Shanmugam and manpower minister Tan See Leng. Interactions with members of the Confederation of Indian Industry’s Andhra Pradesh delegation are also on the agenda.
On June 16, Naidu will inaugurate the CBN@361 programme organised by the Kakatiya Cultural Association and participate in the APAC Semiconductor Roundtable. He will attend the Surbana Jurong-Amaravati Planning Meeting, reflecting the state government’s emphasis on the capital city’s development. The Chief Minister will later meet a delegation led by Singapore Deputy Prime Minister and trade and industry minister Gan Kim Yong. He is scheduled to address the Leadership Plenary at the World Cities Summit and visit the summit exhibition, including the Singapore Pavilion, Innovators Alley and Google Technologies exhibits. Naidu will participate in a meeting with Seatrium and attend the CII Partnership Summit 2026 Business Roadshow, a key component of Andhra Pradesh’s global investment outreach campaign.
Those accompanying the CM include municipal administration minister P. Narayana, industries secretary N. Yuvaraj, special chief secretary S. Suresh Kumar, AP Economic Development Board CEO M. Shanmohan and CRDA officials.
Naidu is scheduled to return to India on the night of June 16.
