VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will lay the foundation stone for the new site of the L.V. Prasad Eye Institute in Amaravati on September 23.
Ahead of his visit, Amaravati Development Corporation (ADC) chairperson and managing director D. Lakshmi Parthasarathi on Wednesday inspected road and transport arrangements at the proposed programme venue.
She reviewed the route from the E-3–N-14 junction to the site and directed engineering officials to prepare a detailed road map to enable the Chief Minister’s convoy to travel directly from the Seed Access Road to the venue.
Parthasarathi also directed the RVR and NCC contracting agencies to expedite road and infrastructure works and ensure adequate parking and seating arrangements at the venue.
She instructed officials to complete all arrangements on priority and ensure smooth traffic movement and convenient access to the programme site.
ADC chief engineers B. Narasimha Murthy and Ch. Dhanunjaya and other engineering officials accompanied her during the inspection.
