192 Schools Found With Unsafe Structures in Manyam
The district education officer presented details on the condition of the structures and the need to replace them with safe facilities to provide students with a secure learning environment.
VISAKHAPATNAM: A survey in Parvathipuram Manyam district has identified 192 schools across 14 mandals with unsafe structures, including 351 dilapidated classrooms marked for demolition.
During a video conference on Wednesday, district collector Dr N. Prabhakar Reddy reviewed the findings and said student safety was the government’s top priority. He directed engineering officials to identify and demolish dangerous buildings as per regulations and complete the process by September 30.
