Naidu Thanks PM Modi for Project Fund Allocation
Naidu said the project would improve coordination among departments, facilitate efficient delivery of services to citizens and create essential administrative infrastructure for the future growth of Amaravati.
Vijayawada: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Union Cabinet for clearing the ambitious Central government general pool office accommodation project in Amaravati.
This is expected to strengthen the presence of Central government institutions in the state and enhance administrative efficiency. The Union Cabinet panel on Wednesday gave its nod for the project that has a cost component of `1,299 crore.
The office complex will be developed over a built-up area of 23.2 lakh square feet and will house multiple Central government offices under one roof.
Naidu said the project would improve coordination among departments, facilitate efficient delivery of services to citizens and create essential administrative infrastructure for the future growth of Amaravati.
He noted that the project would significantly boost the development of the greenfield capital city by enhancing accessibility and streamlining governance.
The CM said the approval of the modern and sustainable office complex reflected the Union Government’s continued support for building world-class public infrastructure in the state and marked another important milestone in Amaravati’s development.
