MSME Expo-Conclave 4.0 opens in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: NTR district collector Dr G. Lakshmisha and Vijayawada East MLA Gadde Rammohan Rao on Friday inaugurated the three-day MSME Expo-Conclave 4.0 in Vijayawada, highlighting the need to promote entrepreneurship and strengthen the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) sector.
Organised by Business Network International (BNI) in association with the Andhra Pradesh government's MSME department, the expo features 128 stalls showcasing products, innovations, technologies and business opportunities across various sectors.
The collector and the MLA visited the stalls, interacted with exhibitors and reviewed manufacturing processes, branding, packaging, marketing strategies and expansion plans. They also explored opportunities to promote local products in national and international markets.
Addressing the gathering, Rammohan Rao described MSMEs as the backbone of the economy and a major source of employment. Stressing the importance of business networking, he said BNI’s nationwide network had helped local enterprises expand beyond state boundaries. He reiterated the government's goal of encouraging at least one entrepreneur from every household.
Dr Lakshmisha said such expos provide an important platform for aspiring entrepreneurs by bringing industries, machinery, technology and business models under one roof.
