Lokesh Steps In To Help Injured Couple, Woman In Oman After Appeals On X

HRD minister N. Lokesh intervened after two appeals for help were posted on X, seeking better medical treatment for an injured couple and assistance for a woman facing difficulties in Oman.

P. Ramesh and Subba Lakshmi of Srinivasapuram in Karakambadi, Renigunta mandal, were seriously injured in a road accident near Karakambadi on September 17. Their children, P. Yashwanth and P. Achitha, appealed for help in a video posted on X.

The children said their parents met with the accident while returning after dropping them at a hostel following the Vinayaka Chavithi holidays. They said both were undergoing treatment in a hospital and appealed to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh for medical assistance, saying they had no one else to turn to.

After the video was shared by an X user, Lokesh asked the Tirupati district collector to intervene and take necessary steps to help the family. He also asked his office to monitor the matter. The Tirupati collectorate has since started coordinating for better medical treatment for the couple.

In the second case, Lokesh responded to an appeal concerning Grandhi Indira of Ralluru village in Chittoor district, who is working in Oman and is reportedly facing difficulties there.

After the issue was brought to his notice on X, Lokesh said his office was taking prompt action to assess the matter and provide all possible assistance to bring Indira safely back to India. He said ensuring her well-being was a priority.
