IT minister Nara Lokesh and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy congratulated actor-politician Vijay as his party Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam candidates won more than 100 seats in the elections held for the 234-member Assembly. Vijay's TVK contested the Assembly elections for the first time in 2026 and the party had crossed the 100-mark.
