Lokesh Envisages Every AP City as Digital Growth Engine
Lokesh congratulated Karthik and the latter’s spouse Sneha Polsani for choosing tier-2 cities like Karimnagar and now Vijayawada over metro hubs, proving that smaller cities can drive big dreams.
Vijayawada: IT and Education minister Nara Lokesh on Saturday declared that the state government's vision is to transform every city in Andhra Pradesh into a digital growth engine.
He made the statement while inaugurating the new office of ECLAT Health Solutions at the Medha Hi-Tech City in Gannavaram near Vijayawada on Saturday. Founded by Karthik Polsani in 2008, ECLAT Health Solutions is a globally renowned healthcare technology company with operations in medical coding, billing, auditing, clinical documentation, HCC coding and AI-powered solutions. The company currently employs over 3,000 professionals worldwide with offices in Hyderabad, Karimnagar, Lucknow and Mumbai.
Lokesh congratulated Karthik and the latter’s spouse Sneha Polsani for choosing tier-2 cities like Karimnagar and now Vijayawada over metro hubs, proving that smaller cities can drive big dreams. “This is not just a company inauguration, it’s the beginning of many aspirations and a leap toward digital empowerment,” he declared.
The minister reaffirmed AP government’s commitment to decentralise development, citing plans to make Visakhapatnam a world-class IT hub and promote cities like Tirupati, Kakinada, Anantapur, Rajamahendravaram, Kurnool and Nellore as tech and industrial growth centres.
Lokesh went on to announce that Amaravati will soon host South Asia’s first 156-qubit quantum computer.
He maintained that companies are choosing Andhra Pradesh because of the visionary leadership of Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, whose brand continues to attract investments, like it earlier did in Hyderabad. He asserted that the NDA government will keep its pledge to create 20 lakh jobs in five years. He pointed out that MoUs have already been signed to generate 10 lakh jobs.
Encouraging youth to work hard, the IT and Education minister recalled his own political journey, contesting from Mangalagiri in 2019 and losing narrowly, only to return in 2024 with one of the highest winning margins in the state.
Those present at the inauguration included MLAs Yarlagadda Venkata Rao and Varla Kumar Raja.
