Inter Advanced Supplementary Exam Results Released
The combined results of the main intermediate public examination and also the intermediate advanced supplementary examination in the first year, the pass percentage in the general category increased to 84, and in the second year in the general category, the pass percentage rose to 92.
Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh government has released the results of intermediate public advanced supplementary examinations (IPASE) held in May 2026 by the Board of Intermediate Education, here on Thursday.
In the first year, 2,20,034 candidates appeared for improvement, and of them, 1,35,435 improved their performance by registering improvement at 59%.
Regarding the candidates who failed and appeared for improvement, 1,09,003 candidates appeared, and of them, 42,379 passed by registering a pass percentage at 39.
Similarly, in the second year 91,303 candidates appeared for improvement, and of them, 48,149 showed improvement in their performance by registering an improvement percentage at 53. For candidates who failed and appeared for improvement, 1,02,018 appeared and of them, 57,327 passed and registered an improvement percentage at 56.

The BIE offered a provision for IPASE first and second year candidates to apply for reverification and recounting of valued answer scripts, and, accordingly, candidates can apply for reverification/recounting from June 19, 2026 to June 26, 2026 by paying the application fee for re-verification, Rs 1,300 per subject, and for recounting, Rs 260 per subject.
Education, IT and electronics minister N. Lokesh said that by extending improvement opportunities to both the passed and failed candidates, over 1.83 lakh candidates improved their performance, while nearly one lakh candidates who had not cleared the intermediate examinations got another opportunity to continue their academic journey. He congratulated all the students who have successfully passed and improved their performance and wished them to move forward with confidence towards higher education and brighter opportunities.
