I Want To Become A Minister: Class VII Student
A Class VII student told Health Minister Satya Kumar Yadav she wants to become a minister and introduce health programmes in schools.
I want to become a minister, a Class VII student responded and drew applause during an interaction with Health minister Satya Kumar Yadav. He is an MLA from Dharmavaram in Sri Sathya Sai district and interacted with students of the Government Girls’ High School in the town on Friday.
The minister invited the student Nandini to come forward. He then asked her what she would do after becoming a minister. She said she would undertake health programmes in schools.
Class IX student Venkataramanamma questioned the minister about the proposed medical college in Dharmavaram. “You had said that a medical college would be brought to Dharmavaram. What happened to it? We are all waiting,” she asked Satya Kumar.
He responded saying an Ayurveda medical college has already been sanctioned and the tendering process is under way. He said the foundation-laying ceremony would be held soon, appreciating the student for raising the question.
