VIJAYAWADA: Vijayawada MP Kesineni Sivanath (Chinni) said competitions organised as part of Vijayawada Utsav 2.0 helped identify hidden talent among students and youth and encouraged creativity.

Speaking at a prize distribution programme at Ramavarappadu Ring Road in Vijayawada on Thursday, he said such initiatives boosted confidence and provided a platform for young people to showcase their abilities. He presented certificates and prizes to winners of various competitions.

The competitions were jointly organised by the Society for Vibrant Vijayawada, Kesineni Foundation and Jignasa Art Works, with the support of the Andhra Pradesh government. More than 100 competitions were conducted across seven categories as part of the festival, attracting a large number of participants.

Sivanath appreciated the efforts of the organisers in promoting cultural, artistic and sporting activities in the city. Congratulating the winners and other participants, he advised them to accept victory and defeat equally and continue to hone their skills. He expressed hope that they would achieve greater success and bring recognition to Vijayawada.

The MP said Vijayawada Utsav had provided residents with entertainment and a range of programmes celebrating art, culture and creativity.

Members of the Society for Vibrant Vijayawada, Vijayawada Utsav organisers and representatives of Jignasa Art Works attended the programme.
