Vijayawada: A heartwarming AI-generated video featuring a little girl playing the role of a district collector has won the admiration of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, turning the child into a social media sensation.
Known for his packed schedule of official reviews, governance meetings and public outreach programmes, the chief minister took a moment to appreciate the creativity and charm of a viral video starring young Arna, fondly dubbed the "Chitti Collector."
Impressed by the child's performance, Naidu shared the video on his official social media account, triggering widespread attention online.
The video draws inspiration from a popular comedy sequence in the Telugu blockbuster movie Nuvvu Naaku Nachav, starring Venkatesh Daggubati. In the film, the protagonist humorously claims to be serving as the Visakhapatnam collector and narrates an exaggerated story about attending a video conference with the chief minister while his father waits outside.
Using this iconic scene as the backdrop, Arna's father created an AI-assisted video that places the child in the Collector's chair.
The video portrays the little girl as the Collector of Visakhapatnam, confidently participating in a virtual meeting with the CM. Syncing her expressions with the famous dialogue from the film, the youngster delivers an adorable performance that has captivated viewers across social media platforms.
The Chief Minister responded to the clip in a light-hearted manner, posting that he had become a "big fan" of the little girl himself. His appreciation further amplified the video's reach, drawing thousands of reactions and shares.
Netizens have praised Naidu for his sporting attitude in embracing a meme and movie-inspired parody involving himself.
