Chandrababu Naidu Seeks Singapore Cooperation For Development of Technology, Infrastructure

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu met Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong on Monday morning. Both the leaders discussed several matters including Andhra Pradesh development, cooperation for development of technology sector, expansion of infrastructure.
Naidu sought Wong's help in technology necessary for AP development, quantum computing, artificial intelligence (AI). He also appealed for cooperation in development of semi-conductors manufacturing and capacity building.
The CM also sought Singapore's partnership in development of various cities along with Amaravati, improvement of urban governance, town planning and modern infrastructure in the state. Responding positively to Naidu's request, Lawrence Wong asked Naidu about various development and construction works taken up in Amaravati.
Both the leaders discussed issues relating to agriculture. Naidu expressed confidence that Amaravati would stand on par with world-class livable cities in the near future. The CM briefed Wong about the natural farming practices being employed in the state and urged him to explore the prospects of importing horticulture and aqua products from AP.
The CM suggested that Singapore and Andhra Pradesh should work together for the development of ports, airports and commercial sector. Both the leaders hoped that Andhra Pradesh-Singapore relations would get strengthened in the future, along with opening new opportunities for investments, technological cooperation, agriculture exports and urban development.
