BJP Celebrates Win in WB, Puducherry, Assam
Senior leaders Duvvuri Subrahmanyam and Y Malakondaiah said the victories strengthened the NDA’s prospects at the national level.
Kakinada: Leaders of the BJP and the Telugu Desam celebrated the NDA’s victories in West Bengal, Puducherry and Assam with rallies, sweets distribution and fireworks display in parts of East Godavari district on Monday.
TD cadres led by Kothapeta MLA Bandaru Satyananda Rao celebrated the victory in Kothapeta and distributed sweets to party workers. The results showed development was possible with NDA governance at both the Centre and states.
In Kakinada, BJP leaders organised the celebrations. District president Bikkina Visweswara Rao described the West Bengal result as a tribute to Syama Prasad Mukherjee and said voters had rejected political violence.

Celebrations were also held at the camp office of MP Daggubati Purandeswari and MLC Somu Veerraju.
