Army Jawan Releases Video Alleging Bid To Encroach His Land in Nandyal
In the video, Mahesh alleged that a group led by Kancharla Shiva and his associates is attempting to illegally occupy his land.
Kurnool: An Army jawan’s selfie video alleging attempts to encroach upon his agricultural land in Nandyal district has gone viral on social media.
The soldier, Bashyam Mahesh, a native of Tammadapalle village in Mahanandi mandal, said he is currently serving in Jammu and Kashmir and owns 2.38 acres of agricultural land in his village.
In the video, Mahesh alleged that a group led by Kancharla Shiva and his associates is attempting to illegally occupy his land. He said it is unfortunate that while he is serving the country, efforts are allegedly being made to grab his property back home.
Appealing to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan and minister Nara Lokesh, the Army jawan sought their intervention to protect his land.
“I request the government to understand the plight of a soldier serving the country,” he stated, ending his appeal with “Jai Hind.”
The viral video has drawn considerable public attention.
