APSRTC Driver Stops Bus, Dies of Cardiac Arrest
An alternate driver shifted the 25 passengers, who had a miraculous escape, to the Rayachoti depot. Authorities arranged an alternate bus for the passengers to reach Benguluru.

Anantapur: The driver of an APSRTC bus service from Kavali in Nellore district to Bengaluru suffered cardiac arrest when the bus reached the outskirts of Rayachoti in Annamayya district on Friday.
The driver Rasool, 50, of the Kavali depot, however, managed to stop the bus on the road side before collapsing on the steering. Passengers alerted ambulance services, which shifted Rasool to the Rayachoti Government Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
An alternate driver shifted the 25 passengers, who had a miraculous escape, to the Rayachoti depot. Authorities arranged an alternate bus for the passengers to reach Benguluru.
Traffic inspector Viswanath Reddy has registered a case.
