Nellore: A high-level delegation from the government of Andhra Pradesh, led by Katamneni Bhaskar, secretary, information technology, visited Foxconn Headquarters in Taipei and engaged with the company’s senior leadership team to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
Bhaskar stated that the meeting focused on building long-term partnerships and exploring opportunities for collaboration in high-tech manufacturing and innovation-driven industrial growth. He further stated that the delegation presented Andhra Pradesh’s vision to become a premier destination for electronics and semiconductor investments, supported by proactive policies and robust infrastructure. He added that this strategic engagement marks a meaningful step towards deepening ties with Foxconn, aligned with a shared vision to drive technological progress and shape India’s future as a global innovation hub.
In another programme, the high-level delegation led by Bhaskar held a strategic meeting with Wayne Wang, secretary general of the Allied Association for Science Park Industries (ASIP), at the renowned Hsinchu Science Park, Taiwan, one of the world's leading hubs for advanced manufacturing and semiconductors.
During the interaction, the delegation presented the government of Andhra Pradesh's vision to emerge as a global destination for electronics and semiconductor manufacturing. They highlighted the investment opportunities and policy support extended by the state to build world-class industrial ecosystems, inviting Taiwanese industrial parks and companies to collaborate.
